How Media Technology is Changing our World – Bryan Hickox

As an independent executive producer, producer and director, Bryan’s 71 movies have been nominated for 16 and won 7 national Emmy awards, along with a George Foster Peabody Award and over 200 different awards in a multitude of national and international film and television festivals and competitions. In 1998, Mr. Hickox received the prestigeous Florida Motion Picture and Television Association Lifetime Acheivement Award.
Mr. Hickox’s theatrical feature film Soldiers of Change, starring Clifton Davis, Debbie Allen, Ben Vareen and Charles Shaughnessy, won the Heartland Film Festival’s prestigious Crystal Heart Award and was screened at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival in France, and is currently available on DVD in release by Universal Home Video.
He recently produced the 4-hour live television coverage of the Global Day of Prayer telecast, which was broadcast in 212 countries. The telecast featured Ron Kenoly, Shirley Smith, Phil Wickham, Don Moen, Ricardo Sanchez, Valerie Chong, Pat Boone, and The Ballet Magnificant, a 150 piece orchestra with 800 voices and and over 60 regimental drum and bagpipers.
He has just finished producing a theatrical feature film, The Perfect Wave, starring Scott Eastwood, Cheryl Ladd, Rachel Hendrix and Diana Vickers, which was shot in Cape Town, South Africa and Bali for release in 2013. His production company, Bryan Hickox Pictures, Inc., has offices in Jacksonville, Florida.
