John Beehner developed this survey to help CEOs evaluate their organizational efforts to be more effective, and to target areas for improvement. For example, A is level of importance to your business. B is the actual performance in achieving or reaching that needed level of importance.
For example, if importance is a 5 (top level) for innovation in introducing new products or services but your performance is only a 3, that means there is need for improvement in innovation. Then the question is, how and what will you do to achieve the desired level? Obviously, not every topic on the survey will affect your business, but there also may be areas you need to review not listed.
